Office Photographers’ Case Study: Deloitte’s Offices in Paris vs. Manchester

Client: Sketch Studios

With the recent launch of their newly designed offices in Paris and Manchester, Deloitte once again demonstrates that workplace design goes far beyond desks and meeting rooms. Instead, it serves as a powerful tool for expressing brand values, fostering company culture, and shaping identity. Moreover, few companies navigate the balance between local relevance and global brand consistency as seamlessly as Deloitte.

In this post, we explore how Deloitte’s offices in Paris and Manchester interpret the firm’s global brand through design. Additionally, we look at how office interior photography plays a key role in capturing and reinforcing that brand consistency across different locations.

It started when Office Curator photographers were tasked with travelling to Paris Val d’Europe to curate a fit-out case study for the Sketch Studio team. The interiors feature soft tones, elegant lighting, and thoughtfully zoned areas. Our task was to create a story about the strategic and detailed layout that outlines what furniture, fixtures, and equipment were selected, sourced, and installed within the space.

  • Lighting: natural, elegant with element of lighting sculpting around architectural features
  • Visual storytelling emphasising openness and energy — creating a narrative from one area to the other, conveying a sense of function, energy, and personality.
  • Colour: subtle neutral colours support a sense of calm and professionalism.
  • Material Palette: Premium stone finishes and matte wood textures communicate sophistication and quality.

Right after we travelled all the way to Manchester, where at 100 Embankment Deloitte has opened its doors to its new office space. Once again we were trusted by the Sketch Studio team to deliver an office fit-out case study split across three upper floors of the nine-storey building, plus the ground floor.

Photography Notes: 🇬🇧 Deloitte Manchester Office Interiors:

  • Lighting: bright, open, ceiling high windows framing the interior
  • Visual storytelling emphasising  bold, standout images that draw attention to a key areas — breakout rooms, informal lounges, formal task and meeting areas
  • Colour: bold biophillic accents create visual vibrancy and align with contemporary wellness-driven design.
  • Material Palette: mix of wood, ceramics, and industrial metal tones offers texture, variety, and urban sophistication.

Our Role in Communicating Brand Through Office Interior Photography

At Office Curator, our lens isn’t just focused on form — it’s focused on storytelling. We translate architectural and interior office design into visual story that aligns with brand identity, design strategy, or user experience. It all depends on the commercial objectives of our clients.

From storytelling sequences to powerful hero shots, our photography is about more than creativity- it’s a tool that helps our clients showcase their ability to craft physical environments and consistently shape the user experience.
